Alexander Simpson began creating male grooming products in 1919 and is renowned as a leader in the field. Manufacturing began in East London before relocating to Clapham due to the destruction of the WW2 Blitz. Simpsons was then established in Nimmer Mill, located in the West Country. Today, Simpson shaving brushes and accessories are produced by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) on the Isle of Man using traditional hand-tied knots and experienced employees.
